I moved in last month and have loved it so far. I live on the third floor, which is what I recommend for bugs and not so vulnerable. I am a female and I walk my dog through the community every evening and the people seem very nice. There is another complex in the middle of Schooner Cove that I don't trust but they seem to leave us alone. I had a few maitenance problem's my first week but they were very nice in the office and the maintenance man fixed everything within a couple of days. I am not new to Ypsilanti and for those who have heard the bad things of Ypsi, I just want to say this is nothing like that Ypsi. It is like 2 miles away from Belleville. I wouldn't even consider it Ypsi.

Since you said you live on the 3rd floor, I am curious, does your apartment seem generally warmer than the 1st or 2nd floor? I'm wondering b/c I live on the 2nd floor and my apartment is really drafty, cold, and expensive to heat, but I see neighbors in the building next to me on the 3rd floor who often have their windows open when it's really cold outside.
