Everything was fine for the first week after I moved in. After that everything's went down hill fast. Everything in the apartment is breaking and falling apart. There is always shady people hanging around outside at night and cars keep getting broke into. There is dog poop everywhere!!! The apartment walls are really thin, you can here the people next door talking and their dogs barking constantly. You can also hear every little footstep of the people above you and you can hear the people below you as well. I wish I would have picked somewhere else to live, now I'm stuck here for the year. It would almost be worth it to pay the extra $$ and get the heck out of here.

The apartments are huge, but that does not make up for everything else that happens here.

Pick somewhere else!

I think it must depend on where you live in the complex because I have been here for 6 months and haven't had any of the problems you listed. My neighbors are quiet (most are families with children). My apt faces the parking lot and I don't see shady people hanging around or cars getting broken into.

i agree with what spicetreer says. ive lived here for about 5 months now and i absolutely love it, i face the parking lot and don't see any shady people..never heard of any cars getting broken into. and i never hear my neighbors or anything. i guess it all depends on where in the complex you live.

Wow, I have been a resident for over one year just renewing my lease and have not had any issues with neighbors. Everyone from the grounds, maintenance department into the very friendly office makes my visits very enjoyable. They truly go out of their way to make me feel at home. I know I made the right choice!!

when you live in apartments you will hear your neighbors. that's just how it is.

Are McKinley employees writing ratings? My car was stolen here..and there are roving bands of teenagers..and shady characters in parking lots espeacialy at night. Loss Prevention is off site and covering numerous properties with one vehicle and one person...Rent is reasonable for what it gets you..but heating costs in winter due to poor window quality and lack of insulation brings cost of living here up dramatically....

Don't know if McKinley writes - I know in talking to many residents at the pool, cook-outs etc. there are alot of great people living here. do you bother to call the police or mckinley loss prevention number posted in the buildings or do you just complain here??
