I moved into Schooner cove and had problem from the very first day I moved in. They never fix anything that was on my checklist and when I called maintance to fix the problem, the would not fix it. I had to move out of one unit to other because the ceiling cracked in the second bedroom. And my neighbor's ceiling was cracking also and it took almost 4 to 5 months to fix it and when they did fix it, they left a big mess. Schooner Cove never to fault of their wrong and have poor customer service, exspecially the office manager, Marina who is really rude. I advice everyone and anyone to not move into this complex. They are trerrible. The door to the building has been broke since January 2008 and because of the door being broke I was robbed.

WOW! I am sure there is more to this then what is written. As a resident of Schooner Cove for 3 years plus, I have myself and family have always been treated with the upmost respect from the entire Schooner Cove team. On numerous occassions we see Marena leading by example in working extended hours to accomadate the needs of residents. You see her moving models, cleaning the pool, as well as sweeping cobwebs from the outside of buildings. It is unfortunate to hear these things. We have refered two families to this community and will continue to do so.

Wow! Is right Marena(not Marina) is more than willing to help with anything at the drop of a hat. She does work WAY over the time she has too and shes probably the best thing to hit Schooner Cove. The only thing i could imagine is your are probably not very well educated(due to your spelling and grammar). This place and staff are great!!!!

Trust me, I thought that Marena was okay at first until problems have arrived. I had to moved out of one unit into another and at first the office seem like they was willing and able to help with the move. Then the true came out. I have all the pager work for what I am going through. Everyone in our building feel the same way. Our outside door lock has been broken since January and we could not get into our building and it is still broken. Their bookkeeping is very poor and maintance in very poor. I had water leaking into my apartment that did not get fixed until I complainted to Mckinley headquarters. And the residents that stay in my old building complaint about the service out there. Yes it is a beautiful property but the customer service you get out there when thing go wrong is terrible. They still have not toke responisibility for me falling on ice or my son being hospitalize due to the mold in the building. All I ask Schooner Cove to do is to make sure that they shovel the sidewalk in the morning and make sure that salt was in the buckets, that did not happen. I continued to reinjury my knee with them not shoveling or providing salt. Do some research within the community before moving in. You probably have not experience a problem due to their fault.

sexyladyigw, your comments about the broken door sound similar to the same problem I experienced in the building I lived in. Consistent at least. I don't know if the building is the same or not but I would always call the office to tell them it wouldn't latch or lock properly, or sometimes it wouldn't open from the inside (I'd have to use the back door to get out) and it'd be "fixed" later that day. I had a problem with leaking around both bedroom windows after a heavy snow storm, called to request maintenance and they were there within the same day and the problem was fixed with maintenance coming 2 days in a row to remedy the problem. It seems like everyone has their own unique experience with Schooner Cove, or any apartment complex really.

You people have lost your minds Marena is the best office manager I have ever dealt with. I have left 2 apartements because of all the problems you mentioned this place having. Marena made sure that all my flooring was replaced before I moved in so I was happy. She has walked through my apt with maintenance and made sure everything was fixed. My security door has always worked and eveyone in our building loves it here and we all get together for dinner and to help each other out when we can. This is the best complex I have lived in and No I DO NOT WORK HERE. I would only be lucky enough to work with the staff here they are always willing to bend over backwards for you...maybe if they are rude to you and your having a hard time YOU are the problem take responsibility for yourself and stop blaming others that is what is wrong with society.. its people like you that blame everyone else.
