I am surprised at most the reviews I have just read on this site. I have lived here for about 8 months and have never had a problem. The scenery is amazing. There is nothing better than relaxing on my balcony watching the sun set over the lake. I live in a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom with a fireplace, overlooking the lake. The apartment is spacious and clean. There is 2 swimming pools, tennis courts, a dog park and the new clubhouse is beautiful. When you consider what you get for the price its a great deal.

I have to agree that hearing the planes fly overhead is annoying and I have had a bad neighbor or two but overall I am very happy with my experience. I am pretty sure I will be resigning my lease when its up.

I agree when I moved in it was the same feeling as you, I thought i was on vacation when I moved in I too like the sceanery and grounds but I loved most that they were dog friendly up to three dogs regardless of weight. but since moving in there has been crimes and water bill went way up more than other apartments in the area and now we have to pay heat which before was included now there arn't any utillities included. and how many times have we been bought and sold? I don't blame the crime on poor, welfare people, on the apartment. they don't execpt welfare rent pay anymore. people do the damage here, if you want to keep the place nice then do your part pick up after yourself don't damage property and many people who do those things are walking in from the outside. recently over 150 tires were slashed in the parking lots just last month and some one barbecueing lit the grass on fire. the dog park is in shambles because people are removeing benches from other areas and putting them in the dog park they also tore of the tops of the dog fence and put up oil lanterns the apartment complex did not do this. residents did this! no I do not work for the apartment, this is what I see with my own eyes. people need to own up to their responsability and to those of their guest. this place is huge its like a little city. and just like any other community this size there is going to be crimes and misdemenors. if you lived in a house in the city it would be no different. people just don't respect what they do not own. I know it sounds like I am pro lakeshore but I'm just being real lakeshore did not cause the problems and they are trying to fix it. its hard to do that when you are between management all the time. I am a resident here and I do hope that all the bad elemnets move out! when I moved in there were less people living here many apartments were not rented out. it was quiet and nice those few who were here were nice, decent respectalble people. and drug dealers live everywhere. not just the city not just apartments still drug dealers need drug addicts to do buisness.
