To each its own. I have lived here for two years. The first year was not bad but mainly because I was most of the day out at work. Now I have more time and things keep adding up. As far as safety, no I do not feel safe here anymore, after the murder, the police have been around here plenty of times searchig for people stealing, about a month ago as I was leaving for work a policeman was outside my building holding a knife and talking to someone. A couple of months ago police had a building surrounded looking for drug dealers. Ashtrays should come included because people keep throwing their cigarrettes out their windows, even water with kitchen grease, people keep leaving their clothes in the washer or taking ours out as soon as the machine stops. I do have to admit that maintenace has come always within a day of placing the order. My car had its antenna broken, vanity plate frame pulled and broken and glass cracked. I am hoping things get better and i can work things out for the rest of my lease but right now I am thinking of leaving at the end of the lease or maybe sooner.

Wow! Black wealth fare rats(4real!)...lol I always thought the word was welfare. And as far as ghetto, trust and believe you don't have to be black to fit that bill. My lease is up next month and we are out, one of the main reasons is the white families next door and down stair. They keep the place so nasty its ashame, and they are loud and rude. Thats just one reason I have many more. So truly I say to you, race is a non issue when it comes to being trifling. Maybe you should try the spell check next time you want to spew your ignorance without some one laughing at your ghetto hood rat self.

First of all Lake Shore does not accept welfare. Secondly, it is sad that people are using this forum to preach racism. Your comments about the ------- american race are unacceptable and frankly, you are so ignorant that I feel sad for you.
