Well I moved in about 2 years ago and I will say I was a lil nervous about it because it had such a bad rep for so long, but when I finally made the move I was very happy! There ended up being a new management company that came in and completely changed everything for the BETTER! The old management company promised so much and did not deliver! The amenities this property has now is awesome I mean come on we have a carwash now how freaking cool is that and lakeshore is bringing back the Ypsilanti fireworks!! This community is slowly but surely turning its self around! I read some of the comments that others have wrote and I am confused that everybody is saying so many negative things...WHY'''''' I mean no matter where you live you will have bad apples but that should not be the properties fault. This place is huge and full of fun!!! I go to some of the events here and see that not a lot of people take advantage of them' THERE FREE!! I mean this is only my opinion and we are all entitled to one! I see a lot of people have compliment about their view so I will have to do the same and say it is AWSOME to wake up to the sun rising over Ford Lake! I just had a birthday and when I came home Lake Shore had made me a small gift to say happy birthday I have lived in a couple different communities and never have I had that done for me. I THINK LAKE SHORE IS GREAT and I DON'T PLAN TO LEAVE!!!!!
So this is my THANK YOU TO ALL OF THE LAKE SHORE STAFF for making me happy!!!!!

I am AMAZED that the staff is so busy writing a post like this and while at the same time cursing the very people that keep them employed. See all the prior posts about how the management at Lakeshore has abused their tenants and have been heard in the back office talking down about them multiple times and you will clearly see that this post is junk. MANAGEMENT, quit acting like a tenant on a message board and start doing your job. This kind of stuff just proves the lack of professionalism in the office. No real person can give a review and not have one negative thing to say. Gesh.

Firewaorks are a great idea - but maybe the money would be better spent as a reward for the killer of the girl who was murdered in her apartment.
