The Lake Shore Apartments formerly Lake in the Woods
< | >
I have to say that I was very nervous about moving here after reading all of the negative reviews that people had posted on here. I have come to the conclusion that the negative posts on here are from people that either were evicted, were employed here and got fired, or currently work for rival apartment complexes.
My apartment (and the complex)is amazing. I can't even begin to describe how beautiful it is here. If only I had more time to utilize all of the free amenities that are offered here. It is perfectly safe here and there are no junkies or dealers hanging out here. I moved here after spending my entire life in a VERY wealthy neighborhood, so my standards are very high and I can assure anyone that this is a good place to live.
A note to anyone who has been reading the posts in regards to maintenance not fixing anything - that is completely false. I had a checklist of (minor)things that needed to be fixed when I moved in. The day after I submitted a request, maintenance arrived to fix them, and they fixed everything the same day. As for the person who commented on the grounds looking bad lately: That's what happens when it hardly ever rains.

Maybe the maintenance were quick to fix your issues, but you should not assume that anyone who reports a different experience is lying, especially considering there are multiple people who reported issues with timely maintenance fixtures. The door to my building was left unsecure [someone's key had gotten stuck in it] for almost a week, meaning that anyone could just walk into my building as they pleased, without using the buzzer. It wasn't even my key, and I had to call three times before someone finally came to fix it. Just because you had a pleasant experience with timely fixes, doesn't mean everyone else living here has been as fortunate.
