ATTENTION!!! ATTENTION!!! Lakeshore Apartments are now accepting low cost government housing (section 8). So if your looking for an apartment in a dirty, crime-ridden ghetto with potholes big enough to swollow your car tires, then this is just the place for you! Put on your doo-rag, turn up the gangsta rap (especially really late at night) and prepare to be robbed, burglarized,vandalized and victimized by a wide array of street trash,such as pimps, drug pushers, armed robbers, burglars,rapists,thieves,ect. If this is for you, then congratulations and WELCOME HOME! I'm sure the management will tell you its PARADISE. But before you take their word for it, drive around and see for yourself (day or night).

This review is so untrue that it makes me angry. I live at Lakeshore and I met a pizza delivery driver here the other night who was ranting about the same things. He was clearly a racist and he was just awful. I don't know if this was written by him, but it sounds like the same nonsense I heard the other night. I am white, for the record. I think this review is written by someone with a bigger agenda. Lakeshore is very nice and to my understanding, they do not accept section 8. Even if they do, poor people aren't necessarily criminals. I was very poor for many years as well and I don't like the stereotypes presented in this review. It is just hate-filled and it makes me sad.

Lakeshore DOES NOT TAKE SECTION 8! That's was the previous management company when it was lake in the woods. I assume that this person probably couldn't qualify for an apartment from the new managment and is bitter.
