Your information is NOT true. Lakeshore does not take Section 8. In fact allow me to give you some true information. Lakeshore has been through many management companies and owners. No other company has brought this community back to life since the current one. Occupancy is higher that it has been since 1992. There are over 2700 residents that live at Lakeshore. Every month at the Neighborhood Watch Meeting the crime stats are reported. The average amount of police calls are less than 30 a month. This report of police calls are less than any apartment community in the area. I have this information, should you like to review. I encourage you to take a drive aound Lakeshore. You will NOT see any of the activities described above. What you will see is a community full of life, activities and a great quality of life. This community has come a long way and will continue. There are many activities for fitness at the clubhouse. There is an After School Program with 35 children enrolled. These children go to the clubhouse after school for activities, computer experience and help with their homework. This is free to all residents. The days of children going home to an empty apartment after school is addressed through this program. These residents are involved and happy with their homes. We address every security issue, take action and that is why our crime stats are low. We realize there will be unhappy residents at times, but your review of this community is untrue. I would suggest that you contact Washtenaw County, sub station on Huron Drive and ask them if they have seen the change that I have described. So, I challenge you to be fair in what you express here. Should you have any questions for me, please contact me at my office at 734-480-2777.
Thank you! Crime Prevention Security 2124 Lakeview Drive

Thank you for this information. I wrote a review a few days ago saying how happy I am here. I was so angry when I read the review that said this was the ghetto. For anyone considering to rent here, please come drive through and see for yourself. It is so clean and friendly and beautiful. I saw a sign mentioning the after school program offered and thought it was so nice. My daughter is an adult now but as a former single parent, I know what that means to the parents and children that you are helping. I can't believe it is free! I always had to pay for my duaghter's aftercare programs.
Anyway, the nasty reviews are very untrue and I'm glad that people are setting the record straight.

I hated living here. This place is full of low lifes. I complained to the office everyday and hated living in the ghetto with such scum. I thank God that I no longer live in this ---- hole. I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy to make the referral fee. Btw, this place is the ghetto.
