Ultimately the staff here is professional and friendly. Initially I had a problem with the room. Without going into too much detail: it wasn't ready at all to be moved into by the date agreed upon. After fighting a bit about it they found an alternative to give to me that was much nicer and vowed to fix the one up so this turned into a happy ending.

Since that incident I really don't have much to complain about. The minor repairs needed were all resolved quickly and efficiently. The outside appears maintained and I couldn't be happier.

Safety:
I emailed the Pittsfield Police Dept. about the safety of the area and the safety commish. mentioned a rash of car breakins. During the first couple of days I did hear about a car that got broken into within the apartment complex however no other incidents have happened since then and I do feel safe here.

Parking:
Parking, while ample could be better lit. For this reason I would recommend paying the $15 or so extra (at the time of this writing) for a car port (all of which are well lit).

Utilities:
Overall they're not bad and I haven't had any major problems with them yet. My only minor quibble here is that it'll usually take a couple to 5 minutes for the hot water to kick in. No biggie overall and I'm confident that if it did become a problem that the staff would be quick to repair it. One person mentioned how there are one washer and dryer per 12 units. While this is true I can say that I've never had a problem getting in to use it.
