Don't Live Here-It's DANGEROUS!

This place is not safe. This place smells in the halls and is very dirty. Appletree has a high theft rate for vehicles. My boyfriend's car was stolen right from outside my apartment, parked in our "safe" alloted parking spots. It is very loud. Many loud people, and a lot of loitering, especially late at night. I don't feel safe here. It is cheap, but is it worth it' Ask yourself the question. I hope to move out soon. Also, they say that they are "pet friendly" but if your pet is over 40 lbs. you cannot keep it here. I had a neighbor who bought a new lab puppy and they apartment complex people threatened to take the dog away as soon as it turned 40 lbs or to force them to move. So it is not all that it seems. Maintence is okay, but not always thorough. The office staff are friendly to your face, but they can screw you over with the lease and stuff. Also, they are never there!! I've never been to a place where the staff takes so many breaks during business hours it is horrible. They don't return my calls promptly and they are open only when everybody is at work. How are you suppose to pick up packages when they are only open 9 -2 or 3, then they take hour or more long lunches. I mean it's ridiculous. Also the pool and weight room is only open when they are there. There have been many dangerous things happen the short time that I have lived here and I'd say the cops are in our apartment complex at least once a week. I don't want to go into much detail, but you don't want to know.
Think about these things if you are choosing to live here.
