This is the nastiest and the most disgusting place I have ever lived in my life! It has been 11 months of hell, and I am not even going to stay here till the end of the lease. I have paid the last month of rent and getting out of here in 3 days. Let them have my money. This is not the issue any more. It is a ghetto and not a safe place. I am afraid to go into the hallway. I have to call my boyfriend to escort me if I have to work the late shift, because there are constantly drunks outside. Thanks God he lives across the street.
No offense to people of color, but: if you are a single white female- turn around and don't even think about this ...hole! There are constantly drunk or high ------ guys hanging around in the hallways and sitting on the stairs, who make sexual remarks and call you "babe". This is disgusting. The hallways smell like marijuana.
Not to mention lovely ------ population, playing their ------- music day and night, and their -- kids running up and down hallways. Especially in summer time when you can actually see you neighbours outside. That is the disadvantage of leasing in winter time- you never know who will come outside in spring. You can see the --------, you can hear them, and you can also smell them. I was offered to join their parties, and was actually forced to call 911 as I got very scared seeing one of them behind my door knocking.
Police is a separate issue. During 11 months I calld 911 5 times! One time in the case with that -------. Second time when some black guy simply walked into my appartment when i went for 30 sec into the laundry room! I came back with my laundry and faced a unfamiliar black guy looking around over my cabinets! I started screaming and he also got scared and ran away. We made a police report with the officer. When I came to the management she just said that it was my fault for not locking the apprtment. Do you still want to live here' Next 3 times was over the noise, parties, and fights under my appartment.
The noise is unbelievable. You can hear people talking. I tried to call that useless number they gave in the office "Resident Loss Prevention"- don't give in to that. It is just some sleepy voice answering and says he will go and check. And the noise is still there. In fact I have just called them again, I don't even know why. I have been studying for my final exam, and that same person downstairs still cannot understand that some people in fact go to school, and even have jobs, and need to sleep at night.
I aso have disgusting ants all year round, and I saw a mouse 2 times. When I went to the manager and told her about mice, she said that was "normal to happen once in a while in any community ".
The hallways are so disgusting, I cannot even find words to describe! Lazy dirty neighbours cannot step extra step outside to throw garbage in the dumbster, they just leave their garbage all over hallways! It stinks and rotts, no wonder there are mice! There are beer bottles, McDonald's and Wendy's cups, leftover food, napkins, used condomes in the hallways!
The management has spent tons of money for reconstructing parking lots- how stupid- instead of fixing up the apartments inside. Hello!! People are not living in the parking lot. They are just trying to decieve with the external look, don't buy into that.
I am ashamed to invite my frineds or my parents to my place, because everyone complains of the smell in the hallway.
For a little while also there was a one black guy begging for change at the front door at 7 am -the time when I leave for work. When you say you don't carry cash he gets mad. HMMM, I wonder how do bombs get inside''' Because the doors are always broken! What a dumb person you have to be to ----, where you eat! Those are going to be you future neighbours.
What a disgusting ghetto!
