I have lived here in the Villas for about 8 months and I love it here. We have not had many problems with anything, the only one being that our roof leaked when the ice and snow was melting. But, it was taken care of immediately. When we first moved in everything that needed to be fixed, just small things like the screen door, was taken care of within 2 days of reporting it. The office staff is great and some changes have been made that improve the office even more. Everyone here is so friendly, our neighbors are nice, there is not much noise, and overall is safe. There have been a couple of incidents, one with a gun, and one of a reported break-in but it does not happen often. I love it here, but the utilities are seriously ridiculous. I keep my heat below 70, my apartment is never even hot or eve warm other than the living room but I still pay 80/mo just for gas! The AUM they use is stupid, they charge you $5.00 for sending you a bill. If they fix that and the parking problems (handicap) then it would be great!

The reason you pay so much in gas and bills, is that they are ripping every resident off. If you consider even 100 residents paying $80, you get $8,000. That would be 96,000 per year. It couldn't possibly cost that much to provide heat/hot water. Where I live provides heat for free. You should consider moving, because you are being ripped off... Also, a number of years ago, when it was called Apple Tree Apartments, heat was included, and the ratings on this site were in the low 90-percent range. Your property has definitely gone down since then.

The Villas is ripping you off, and armed robberies and criminal activities are taking place more often than you apparently realize.
