This apartment has been hell for me. I moved in in August, and should have known what this year would entail when my toilet didn't work. My roommate and I went through a series of problems. Sink not working, heat not working, toilet not working, door to the building not locking, bugs (not ants, I have never seen these before), "rent is late" notes when the rent was paid on time, and my worst problem, a leaky roof.

I had a problem with this roof approximately 4 times. It was in the master bedroom- my bedroom- right above the bed. It took atleast 2 days for someone to come and see it, and after they did I didn't hear back for about a week. Finally someone came and "patched it" from the inside, which only made the water dispurse to other parts of the room. Again, maitenance was called, and the problem was "fixed". I finally got fed up when I came home from a weekend trip and wanted to take a nap in my bed only to find out it was SOAKED. I made them put me up in a hotel for the night and later that week they had actual roofers come to fix my roof.

Not to mention all of the burglaries that happen throughout the year that they do basically nothing to prevent. And I have seen two cop chases since I have lived here.

The one good thing I will say about the apartments, is that the people in the leasing office are very nice. As are the maitenence men.

Sounds like NOTHING has changed since I lived there almost 2 years ago. I am so glad my wife found the place we are at now. (2Br less than 500/m) - Good luck to everyone!

$500/month for 2 bedroom in A2, not possible...I have lived in A2/Ypsi my whole life. Anyways...I have not lived in these apartments...but I have had a slumlord at EMU Westview apartments, we had water damage from the ceiling, and they did not fix it right away....So I feel your pain. nothing worse than water damage near your very expensive computer, when you are a computer science student!
