No frills, but decent apartments

Years at this apartment: 2005 - 2009
I've lived in a one bedroom then a two bedroom in the complex. The apartments are nice, have good lighting and are pretty large. The one bedroom had a walk in closet and a foyer, but the air conditioner was in the living room which made it difficult to sleep on hot nights. The two bedroom had a really nice sized kitchen and windows on each side, but just one air conditioner which was in the larger bedroom. Each building has security doors and each unit has an alarm. The rent on both was really reasonable.
The landscaping was very basic (lawn mowed regularly, but not watered or fertilized ever). Some neighbors are noisy, but only in a couple buildings. There is no pool or rec room or anything like that. The only cable hookup is in the living room so you would have to contact management if you want cable in the bedroom. Some people have complained about the neighborhood, but I have never had a problem. FYI: The shooting in 2007 was an isolated incident.
Overall it's a good starter apartment or for someone on a budget.
