I recently moved out of this apt community. I would like to tell you my experiences here. First, management is awful and not considerate of tenants. The security doors are always unlocked and you pay for secured doors!! There are dogs barking constantly!! Management doesn't enforce any rules----dog rules, pool rules, guest rules, or any rules. The rent is way too high for the quality of service you receive. The staff and bldg staff are also rude. Cleaning is done not enough. Vacuum hallways like every 3 months. Trash in parking lots. This apt community needs a new manager and new office staff. This place is going downhill fast. Find a place that is cheaper.......maybe the management would be nicer then to. Also, the water is always hard...they always run out of salt.

VERY POOR PLACE TO LIVE........THINK AGAIN BEFORE MOVING HERE......UNTIL THEY GET A NEW MANAGER.......BRANDI IS CLUELESS AND RUDE.

Apparently Apartment ratings sends you an email when a review is posted, which is the reason for this post. I get tired of people ripping good places or things in a review, especially with overstated and inflated comments just because they, themselves personally could not play well with others. I moved out March 1 of 2009 and bought a house. I would have gladly stayed in the B building otherwise. The security doors are always locked. In fact, they almost go overboard with the security. Think about the stairway doors. The only time the door isn't secure is if a tenant props it open but that's hardly the management's fault. I didn't hear any dogs barking when I lived there. Maybe it's because I didn't live in a pet building. You chose to move into the pet building, where pets are all day?? How is that management??s fault? In my opinion the rent is on the high side, I'll agree with you there. I think they are about $100-150 bucks a month overpriced. In the B building, housekeeping vacuumed at least weekly. I was very satisfied with the cleanliness of the floors. Occasionally in the winter it got a little soggy by the mailboxes but hey, it was snowing. I'm sure trash does accumulate in the parking lot as it does anywhere. I never noticed it to the point that I would remember it. Now I don't know how anyone can complain about Brandi. She was always very nice, courteous and helpful to me and another couple people I knew there. The rest of the office staff seemed to go above and beyond as well. Of anything there that I could muster a complaint about, the management wouldn't even be a consideration. I can imagine that if you are searching really hard to complain, you'll find something. I would also venture to say that if you found management to be a problem, you probably were a problem for them too. My opinion. I would gladly live at Hearthstone again and would recommend it to a friend or family member. Matt
