I have lived here for 4 months. Two of which were happy. Recently I've noticed a lot of things that are going on and nothing being done about it. I've reported several incidents to management regarding cleanliness, broken fitness equipment, furniture left in hallways, dirty entrance hall ways, light blown out in hallway that I had to report because no one was checking the hallways like I was told they do...it was flickering for a few days then finally blew out. Here is what I've been told when reporting an incident; OK we will take care of it then it never gets taken care or to be told that someone will check on it or to be told that we are short staffed and can't always keep everything up or to be told that there a lot of buildings to keep clean and due to staffing they can't always keep up with it.
I have called the office and the staff has gotten smart with me and took a nasty tone of voice. However when I was signing my lease no one was nasty!
Here are some examples for you to consider while making a determination of signing a lease......
Are the hallways clean enough to satisfy you
Do the entry ways and glass seem clean....not the glass or emtry way located right by the office. Check other entrances
Are the walls clean enough for you and the wallpaper in good shape
Look at the carpet on the steps are they clean
Are the walls clean in the hallways
Now on a good note.....Kingston Green Luxury Apartments is located in a wonderful area, the ammenities are great, when they work. The apartments are nice and very spacious and the noise level isn't too bad. The maitenance staff are nice and have been courteous and fix things in a timely manner and corectly. However, with all of the things that are not acceptable vs. the rent, I would hardly call them "LUXURY" apartments.

Thanks SRROGERS - at least someone realizes that with holiday and 2 staff members being VERY seriously ill - (but management is sticking by them)the rest of the team can only do the best thay can. Thanks again.

I do realize that a few staff members have been out, but I noticed a few things over the last week as well that really disgusted me as well. When I moved into my apartment they told me they had painted when it obviously had not been done, I wasn't too upset as I realized we were moving in early and maitenance has been short staffed, but I would have liked them to be honest with me and tell me that no it has not been painted... but they would be willing to do so when things slowed down.

I have come to realize that the staff in the office are only maybe 40% of the issue's at Kingston Green its the upper mgmt (Hayloft Properties) that are screwed up. The upper mgmt are the ones that tell the staff in the office how they want things done and to do things half ass'd. I really hope they read the comments on this forum so they can change things for the better.

I "DO" take PROZAC...twice daily! However, what does that have to do withthe issue at hand? I have no anger problems. I am just concerned with the problems I have encountered and wish that they could be fixed. I thought this would be an avenue to get others to speak up instead of email wars...I've spoken with other tenants who are dis-statisfied. I am aware that "all" of us have different expectations. Mine are those that were presented to me when I first met the staff and toured the premises. Sorry that I have offended anyone...but my opinion stays the same.

I am very concerned that when I move out that I will be getting a bill for several hundreds or even thousands of dollars.....for what? Has this really happened to someone? Did you have to pay the money? I spoke with someone that used to live here and they informed me that they got a bill for $5,000.00!!!! Is this stuff really true? I am moving soon...any suggestions????
