I lived at Devonshire for 6-1/2 years. It used to be great. The staff was excellent and very attentive to problems. However, that all changed recently. I think it was caused by the apartment complex being bought out in June 2003. Now the staff is very poor at responding and completely inflexible. They made no efforts to keep me (even after 6 years of loyalty) when I pointed out that I could get a better apartment for less money almost anywhere in the city. They have also laxed on fixing things (doors remain broken for weeks, sidewalks aren't shoveled, etc.) It is such a shame because it used to be such a great place to live.

Wow, I wish I had been here when it use to be a good place to live; because staff hear currently acts as if the tenant is the reason that they are in a dead end job, and their feelings are shown through their wordings and actions. As you can see, it's not about their tenants, and I'm not sure if it has ever been. I posted to another tenant stating.."What is done in the dark, will soon come to the light". And it has for you, and I. I'm just glad that it didnt take 6 dedicated years for me to notice it. Money is the root to all evil, when you are sincerely concerned about your tenants,... monies will come. Good Luck with your move, and God bless you!
