Good amenities .. indoor pool and small gym.The apartment building itself (Bldg 10750):

CONS

- Old interior carpeting ... VERY old- Smells funny EVERYWHERE- Cigarette STINK flows to upper floor apartments- Asbetos in the ceilings and behind the stove- No breakfast bar in kitchen/dining area- Gym access is limited to when the office is open (read: no early morning workouts as they don't open until 8 am).- No washer/dryer hook-ups in apartment- Staff is not very friendly, depending on who you deal with. The manager is not customer oriented and acts as if you're wasting her time when you attempt to ask a question or register a complaint. The maintenance staff is moderately friendly, again depending on who you deal with.- TINY sink area in bathrooms - this is VERY annoying for storage of your toiletries.- No kitchen sink sprayer- Bad cabinet space in kitchen and poorly installed cabinets- Horribly LOUD A/C units, but fortunately you use them VERY rarely in Minnesota.- Carpet in apartment could have been nicer.- A/C unit in master B/R had a terrible problem with leaking during a heavy rainstorm- Took about 6 months to get a heating problem fixed that I had reported even before I moved in.

PROS

- Quiet- Spacious apartments- Reasonable rates- Indoor pool and workout room- Moderately decent residents (i.e., no riff-raff hanging about)- Good controlled entry system- Underground heated garage- Free storage room- Common area washers and dryers always in working condition- Decent private balcony ONLY IF you get a 3rd floor corner unit- Free water, free heat - only 'must pay for' utility is electric (naturally, phone and cable is on you, but they are not absolutely necessary, right')- Good closet space (master B/R has a walk in).- My apartment had a new fridge, but old stove and dishwasher. It also had new sinks all around.- Electric bill averaged only about $25-$35 / month and that's with leaving on 1 or 2 computers all the time.- Excellent, quiet, floor-register heating.- NO DOGS ALLOWED (this is really nice, unless you have a dog, obviously). No dog scat all over the grounds.
