If you vacate, be prepared to pay a price, and also be prepared for a rude management behavior. I have nothing against the apartment. The shocker came when they deducted $200 from my deposit. For what? $120 for carpet replacement. I was charged for a carpet damage what was a pre-existing condition and I specifically mentioned it in the lease. $80 for cleaning in kitchen. Like $15 for cleaning drip pans (WHAT?? Are you crazy? It costs $10 to buy new!). $20 for cleaning kitchen rings (THEY MUST BE INSANE? stove rings cannot be dirty because heat burns the food on it)

This is all when me and my wife are EXTREMELY clean people. In addition there is no clause in the agreement which requires me to clean at departure.
Bottom-line, the management is unethical and feels that if you are leaving, they should make money from you. I guess they have made 1000s of dollar robbing people this way. They also feel that nobody will fight for a not-so-large amount. I will! I am taking them to the small claims court soon for my deposit, legal costs and cost of my time. I will also register a complaint against them in better business bureau. The bureau should start an investigation against such unethical practices. If anybody has had similar incidents, please contact me at prettyiowa@gmail.com.

This dude is stupid. I moved about 8 months ago and got my full deposit back. My girlfriend lived there prior to me and got her full deposit back. I had two separate friends living there at the same time I did and they both got their deposits back. There is something deeper this dude is not letting on to. Oh, and by the way, Liers is spelled with an "A". Good luck in court, idiot.

I too had no problems with deposits from this apartment. Take this review with a grain of salt. Note how poorly it's written; spelling and grammar errors abound.

Thank you for the support. What people DON'T know is the other side to the story. If you want me to I can post pictures as to how they left their apartment. Everyone gets there deposit back as long as they leave it in good condition upon moving out. EVERYONE knows to clean their apartment before moving out. I even sent out a cleaning list in the middle of the month. I have pictures showing how dirty they left that stove and I charged them the amount it would take for my caretaker to clean it and the carpet had burns all over it and they only stated "stains" in the move in inspection. I will see them in court and as that person said above...good luck!

Well, you can not win with just 2 lucky people's support. Bring your fake paper work to the court okey and will see who wins. Don't forget we also have pictures and copy of the lease that has burnt marks mentioned on it. So, good luck to you too!
