I moved into Georgetown Park a few months ago. I had prepaid and scheduled movers to move all my belongings only to find out that maintainence was still "caulking" around the sinks and tub, in their attempt to make it look like they had cleaned. The carpet hadn't been shampooed, the hardward floors had not been sanded (which was promised) and the build-up under the drip catch on the stove was caked on so bad that it was a fire hazard. I didn't have shelves in my linen closet and there was a huge crack in one of the windows (that still hasn't been replaced) and the rest of the windows and doors don't seal, so you are always getting a nice cool breeze in the dead of winter! I also thought having a unit close to the rental manager's unit would make things better because then I wouldn't have to worry about unruly kids and all the other "issues"...come to find out that some of the unruly kids are the managers! Not to mention that the rental manager is on a total power trip (including their kids - who run around and taunt the other kids because they know that they won't get in trouble and their mommy can get them written up) Their pet policy sucks. After getting written up for not having my dog on a leash (which wasn't true)I was provided "rules" on what I could do, in which putting my dog on a lead was acceptable as long as I was out there with him. Some 2 months after I had been using the lead, I got another "write up" stating that the lead was against the pet lease agreement'!'!'! Apparently the only way to play with your dog is to play with it in the house or outside on a 4 ft. leash! (and I'm sure that the rental manager's sister doesn't get any notices about her 2 cats that run all over the complex at all hours of the day). I wish I would have listened to my gut instinct after reading all the other reviews, but I really thought that people were over exaggerating when sending in their reviews...but believe me, THEY ARE TRUE!!!!!

Hello to all Georgetown Park residents. I actually drove by the area and was going to rent there, but good thing i read your comments on it. Here's a website you ALL will find helpful. It's free and your call is free and confidential. I found this website in search for my own resolution with my Property Manager for threatening to evict me for asking for prior notification before entering my townhome to finish repairs and they noticing I have "too many" visitors during the day. Hey, i have a large extended family. VISIT: www.homelinemn.org
