NOW THIS PLACE IS WAY BELOW ANY STANDARDS (do read the bottom line, you will see what i mean). noisy residence, cops arresting, non stop noisy pets. trashed and poop filled grounds, nfriendly staff, inefficient mangement.
residence have no respect for other residence, mangement do not care. mangement do not return orrespond to your calls and needs, no matter how urgent they are. dogs barking throughout the nights (no offense to dogs, but to the owners who do not know to train, restrain or love their dogs), dog poop and waste all aroung the building, barking dogs. drunk and noisy residence, residents being taken away in handcuffs, this last 2 years cops have been here a too many times to mention. but the mangement do not take any action. unfriendly, rude and arrogant staff, including those who smile in front you and say they care but never respond to your requests (mind you there is atleast one nice friendly maintenance staff). the only time mangement will ever write to you or call you is if you ever wrote a check even 1 dollars short (i mean 'one'), belive it or not that happened to me, and they said if they don't get it in 15 day they would charge me a late fee of 50 or 75 dollars . agian there is n't much good i can say about this place any more. almost all the people who lived here 3 years ago has moved out, and people are still moving out. people move in here, i think just seeing the initial smiling faces and then they soon change their minds, but by then they are trapped in contract. for thos who think they are having it good, good for you and hope it stays that way for you as long.
this partments itself is in a beautiful space if only the mangement managed it well. this place used to be very good with their initial owners and mangment, friendly staff, with full calender activites in and out doors (i had recomended and moved my friends in here), but now it is NOT a good place to live in anymore.

I somewhat agree. I dont think its as bad as this person has made out to be. There are problems with management, for sure. But, i cant say that i have ever lived somewhere i didnt have some complaints about management.
International Village is a nice place to live. I have been here 2 years and have yet to see cops out here, let alone see someone get arrested.
There are about 8 buildings out here, so there are A LOT of different people. and i suppose it depends which building you are in.
The complaint i have is my current neighbours are not picking up after their dog. Which is goss. Not much anyone can really do about that though. Dogs barking can be really annoying, if you call management they will talk to the owner of the dog. They did that with me when i first got my dog and she was barking. We bought a bark collar and she no longer barks and i personally went to my neigbours to apologize for her noise.
If you have complaints about your neighbours, it may be best to go to them as an adult and talk to them politely about your concerns.
I think this place is nice. There are all kinds of community things going on for this complex. The amenities are amazing, lots to do. The club house is always kept clean.
If you are reading this because you are thinking about moving out here, remember that there are always going to be unhappy people in the happiest of situations. I know many people out here that are happy as can be. There is good and bad to everything, and i definately believe the good outweighs the bad at this place.
