Nice Apartment/2000-2001 STAFF FROM HELL!!!!

Years at this apartment: 2000 - 2001
I lived at Tarnhill for one year and it was nice for my first apartment. I lived in a nice spacious 2 bedroom apartment with a roommate. The bathrooms and cupboards were updated and the living room was HUGE! The master bedroom was pretty big also but the smaller bedroom was just that SMALL! Tarnhill wasn't the highest scale apartment complex but it was far from the worst. The only real problem I had was with the office staff that was working there at the time. I lived there years ago so I highly doubt they have the same staff. I hope they don't for the sake of all current residents at Tarnhill. It was almost all girls working in the office at that time and they were all probably in their early to mid 20's. My roommate and I both got into it with three girls in particular on more than one occasion. My roommate's rent check bounced one month because of an error on the banks part and she tried explaining this to the "office -------" but they didn't want to hear it. They were very rude about the whole situation. Not only were they rude but they made my roommate pay her rent with money orders for the rest of the time we lived there. I had a huge arguement with the office staff over something that happened like 2 months before I was moving out. I got home from work one day and pulled into the parking lot and opened my drivers door and this guy pulls into the spot next to me in a big suv and literally almost takes my drivers door off. So I was pissed about that and then I was walking to the front door of my building and the same guy was ahead of me and I sped up to grab the door before it shut so I didn't have to dig for my keys and he looked at me from the other side of the door and pulled the door shut so I couldn't get in. I got into my apartment and my roommate was still at work. It was my first time living away from home and I was really anul about having the doors locked so I automatically locked my apartment door when I got home. I had the master bedroom which has a bathroom connected to it. I went in the bathroom right when I got home and took a shower. I got done showering and was getting into some comfies when I heard a noise coming from outside of my bedroom door. I knew it couldn't be my roommate so I got scared. I opened my door anyways and looked out into the hallway to find the f-er that almost took off my car door and locked me out of the building looking in my hall closet. I FLIPPED OUT!!!! I started yelling at him and asked him what the hell he was doing in my apartment and how did he get in and all of a sudden I see one of the office girls coming around the corner. She had been in my livingroom and I didn't see her. She jumped like she was startled and had the nerve to ask me what I was doing in my own apartment. I told her I lived there and what the hell was she doing in my apartment. She said she was just showing it to this guy and that he might be the future renter. I told her that she can't just storm into my apartment without giving me proper notice. She said that she called our apartment earlier and had spoken with my roommate who gave her permission to enter our apartment. I told her she was full of ---- because we hadn't had an apartment phone hooked up for months and that the office didn't have our cell phone numbers. She still insisted she spoke with my roommate....probably so I wouldn't scare away the future tenant. Even though I shouldn't have I allowed them to stay and look at the apartment. That wasn't the end of it though....not even close! So then they leave a flier on our door like 2 weeks later saying they are showing our apartment that day so I called the office and spoke with someone and said that they couldn't show our apartment that day because I was having my family over to celebrate a birthday. Well they showed up at my door anyways. I let them look through my apartment but not without bitching to the girl that they really need to give us 24 hours notice....it is only right. Well then get this....I receive a call from my mom and my mom tells me that one of the office girls called her to talk about me. That is right. She knew my parents names and she looked them up in the phone book and called my mom to tell her that she doesn't think I like her. This chick was 26. I was just pissed after that. So basically at the time I lived there I didn't have any complaints about the actual apartment itself....but the staff....EWWWWWW!
