Tarnhill is not a good place to live. They frequently don't have hot water and you frequently have to take cold showers. There is a foul smell that comes from the sinks. There is a terrible mold problem in the underground parking garage. Mold grows all over the walls and water leaks out everywhere from the pipes, dripping water on your car and creating large puddles all over the ground. You have to walk through deep puddles every day to get to your car. I felt like I was walking through a drippy, moldy cave every time I walked through the underground parking garage to get to and from my car. They refused to replace my air conditioner even though it no longer cooled the air. Management told me as long as the motor still runs, they won't do replace it, even though it no longer cools the air. They continued charging me for my electricity months after I moved out. I called several times to ask them to stop charging me for electricity when I was no longer living there, but I continued being billed for electricity for months. The staff is rude and dismissive. They address you in a patronizing way and do not treat you with any respect. They charge you exorbitant cleaning costs when you move out. They will take your entire security deposit. Don't expect to see a dime of it come back to you when you move out. They will charge you bizarre cleaning charges for cleaning the inside of the fan in the bathroom, the inside of the air conditioner, exorbitant costs for changing light bulbs and other questionable fees.

Wow.. I really don't feel alone anymore. Reading everyone elses reviews, I didn't get my deposit back either, and the cleaning fees were CrazY! They give you a list of things you're supposed to clean and how much it would cost to clean if you don't. Like the fan in the bathroom.. I don't feel like anyone shoud be asked to open up a screwed in electrical box and clean it, leave it to the professionals (and not get charged) my opinion anyways.
