This apartment complex is absolutely horrible. -----, whom works in the office is a real jerk. The maintenance guy is a complete waste of space. He's fat and lazy and will actually drive his truck and park it in a corner to hide from management while he just sleeps in his car. I've seen him do it many times! Amazing!!!

If anything breaks they won't fix it without constantly bugging them to do it. The laundry price is astronomical. The maintenance staff is a bunch of people that look like criminals. They will enter your apartment sometimes without prior notice (yeah, seriously this is illegal).

They rent to a high amount of section 8 and it is turning this apartment into another ghetto area with people driving buy with their windows rolled down in their cars with the N word blasting on their stereo while kids play at the playground!!

People use their balconies for storage. The caretakers will vacuum at midnight. Snow never gets shoveled in the winter for the sidewalks. I can go on and on and on with things wrong with TarnHell!

The quality of people that live here is very low. They will be carrying cases of beer in at noon on a Tuesday. The hallways smell like Marijuana all the time. Many people park their car out front for short visits to people's apartments here (i.e. - people are selling drugs out of tarnhill).

So basically if you want to pay the most amount of money, have the rudest staff, be living with criminals and drug dealers, want to pay tons for laundry, want to have constant fights with your neighbors and want to have your vehicles damaged at night in the parking lot then move to tarnhill immediately!!

The worst place ever!

absolutely correct! I used to live there from year 1999-2004! I can't believe still those jerk staffs work at rental office. I hope city of Bloomington will come soon to close that Turn Hell apt.

I still live at Tarnhill and have had only minor problems and that being with the noise of my upstairs neighbors who seem to not realize that other people do work during the day. I've had maintenance needs and they jump right on it and fix it for me. Although ----- no longer works there I he was always friendly and asked me how things were and if I needed anything everytime I saw him. The caretaker of my building is AMAZING!! She has cleaned the building up since the last caretaker who did absolutely nothing. I think that the problems that people have here depend on what building you live in and how you treat others. I for one have had no problems here and have lived here for over 2 years.

I agree, must be the building, My bulding is great! and the caretakers are always cleaning and only during normal hours. The staff too are alwya nice tome and I have never had any Maintenance issues. I love it here and plan to live here a long time.

I live here also for past 2 years and I agree with the original post! New management but same B.S. just a chick this time and men who think they are chicks but with attitude. As far as the cleaning of the building....don't make me laugh any harder than I am already, if you call this clean then I would hate to see your apartment!
