I used to live at Village Park in Bloomington Minnesota (2002) and I have posted some other reviews here. After reading more reviews, I decided to look up some of their advertising.

Absolutely shocking and fruadulent!

VPB claims their apartments are BRAND NEW - This place is NOT brand new! Nothing about it is brand new! VPB claims they have "designer window treatments" - more BS! What they have is cheap miniblinds probably from walmart! Spacious kitchens' NO! They have "galley kitchens" a SMALL kitchen that is a walk-thru that you can barely turn around in! Separate dining rooms' What!! Look at the floorplans online to see that isnt true!

VPB claims they are close to downtown... downtown WHAT' Bloomington is not close to downtown AT ALL! It claims they are on the light rail transit - ANOTHER lie! The closest light rail is at Mall of America (which is close but not a comfortable walk!)

They are 13 miles from downtown!

MANY people end up with rat and mouse infested apartments. They travel thru the walls and get into your apartment,the building inspector has been there MANY times! so have the police! There have been MURDERS in the apartments like on the premises

What needs to happen is that we get together and file a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission for this fraud and maybe some other agency for interstate fraud, in my case I moved from the west coast to there based solely upon their advertising! We need to hold apartments.com and others accountable as well for perpetuating this fraud!

I cannot wait to get out of this DUMP! I too, have witnessed all said above & have all the reviews, & they are true! After I move out, I'm going to call the management, get all their names,titles, & the Corp.Headqtrs number & file a complaint! I have been here for two years now, & see nothing but -------- go on from management to the tennants. I'm swearing on here because I'm fed up with how I'm being treated, & talk with many tennants about the things that are so wrong with this place. I know of a family & a friend of mine that are moving out in August & I can't wait until it's my turn to move. I have had to go the magmnt. about so many things, that it's embarassing! So if any of you, or other people want to read my review after I leave, please do! Trust & believe me, with all I have to write from the 2 years up to now, you'll wish you did. I don't lie when I say that I feel sorry for all the people that live there already & can't get out of their lease,just moved in, or even would think of moving there! I learned my lesson the hard way, I didn't research, or ask all the "tough questions" before moving in. Nor did I look at any other places. I wish also that I knew about this website, now I know what to look for. Furnishu, I don't know you, but if you want, I'd like to help in this case.
