When we first moved into these apartments we appreciated the quiet and safe atmosphere. Over the past few months however, we have become extremely fearful of living in the apartments.

Just over a month ago a woman, walking to her car at 6:30 am, was forced into her car and raped in the dimly lit parking lot. While the office staff worked with the police to notify residents, no further updates were given. The rapist has yet to be found and is likely still in the neighborhood.

I have contacted the office management several times with my concern about the safety of the area. I was told that they are working with the Bloomington police to secure an off-duty police office who will patrol the grounds and facilities primarily in the evening and early morning. This individual will not be available to escort people to their cars however. Further, it has been over a month since the rape and the officer has not yet been secured. In addition to the above, renters should question is they want to live in a place that requires police security to ensure safety.

The office staff are very unfriendly, unprofessional, and unhelpful.
