I hated this apartment!

Years at this apartment: 2006 - 2007
We moved in last September. First of all, when we went to look at the apartments, they spent most of their time showing you the clubhouse, the pool, and all of the amenities. They spent about 5 minutes in the apartment, so you wouldn't focus on that as much, and were mesmerized by the amenities. Within the first month, we had mice. Our oven door was broken, and they said they were going to replace the entire stove. We waited about 3 weeks, and when we finally got ahold of the management about it, the maintenance man told us our "new" stove had been in an apartment for the last two weeks, he wasn't sure why they didn't bring it up sooner. The hot tub didn't work the whole time we lived there. The work out room didn't have heat or a/c, so people rarely used it. There was bad lighting outside, and I always had to park very far away, and had to walk by myself in the dark around midnight, because I work late. They replaced the windows and sliding door in the WINTER, and we had to cover everything ourselves with plastic if we didn't want it ruined. We weren't allowed to be there while they were working on it. After we moved out, thank god, it took over a month to get our security deposit back. When I finally called them to ask why we hadn't recieved it, he said because they had the wrong address. When I asked him why I hadn't been contacted for this, his response was, "This happens all the time." SO THAT MAKES IT OK!'!'!'!'!' I hated this place, I would never recommend it to anyone, and because it is owned by Village Green, I will never rent from any of their properties, ever again!
