I met a cop in the lobby today - undercover - he had a warrant for someone in the building. I let him in. We joked about what a hell hole VP is; he told me that a large majority of crime in Bloomington is linked to VP's address. Lovely. He said I should think about moving. I plan to this summer. This place is THE ghetto of Bloomington.

What I don't understand is if you hate it so much, why have you lived here for 2 years? My brother is a cop and cops do not talk like that with people, so I think this is a lie!

No lie. I know he didn't want to say anything bad about the place. He did tell me it used to be worse. Funny, my dad is a retired cop and I've known cops my entire life and honesty is a two-way street. And if you really want to know why I've lived here for two whole big long years, it's because I didn't want to move after a year nor did my husband. We wanted to give it more time, but it's just gotten worse. Hmmm...you must be office staff or one of the low-brow people with 5 kids that lives here...am I right? Oh, wait don't really care, no body with the cop for a brother.
