problems we've experienced:
leaking ceiling
possible ant/termite infestation
can hear neighbors arguing
hallway smells of marijuana and cat pee sometimes
people spy on apartments on bottom floor
garages are always problematic
hot tub has caution tape around it more often than not
tv's in club room were stolen
pool table has pool pockets ripped out
gym is garbage
cabinets are ugly and often have water damage
fridge leaks water constantly
dishwasher is ancient, no one ever came to fix it either
carpets installed incorrectly, not big problem
closet doors bent in and not fixed
asbestos in ceilings
fire alarms go off every once in a while
holes in walls covered up poorly from previous tenants' punches

I suggest - to everyone - to contact homeline (homelinemn . org) and talk to them about your rights as a tenant. Tell them all of the problems you have witnessed and ask about how to escrow your rent.
To anyone who doesn't know, management is emailed every review on here. When they claim "no one has complained" they are trying to avoid fixing the problems.
