Terrible management, lack of maintenance and staff too stuck on themselves and hearing out their customers

I would not recommend this complex to ANYONE based upon any standards of living, race, age or any status. I will just talk about the ratings as they go down the list below. Parking is always crowded, run down cars that are not working take up spaces and sit their with parts and pieces hanging off of them or flat tires. No notice is left on these cars. Broken glass and trash piled up and every where in the trash locator sections. People throw out whatever it is they want from desks, couches, beds, entertainment centers, clothes and the list goes on. Nothing is done about this over flow of trash except that the garbage men are angry and leaving things all in a mess when they leave as well.
Noise was obnoxious. People would come in at all hours and be cursing and yelling at each other down the hallways. You could hear things from people talking in the apartments next to you and above you. I lived near the entrance way and since there is about an inch gap from the base of the door down to the floor you could hear all conversations that were going on. Also when 4 out of 7 days you would walk into your apartment complex and be overwhelmed with the smell of people smoking pot.
Grounds are dirty with garbage that is not picked up when trash comes through. Broken glass and cigarette butts would sit there for weeks and I myself would pick up glass to avoid myself or someone else from stepping on it.
Construction of the buildings is terrible. I moved in June 2008 and out October 2009. I had requested that the screens and woodwork be fixed on my porch in June and it wasn't completed until July 2009! The paint chipped off and oh yeah about 3/4 of my kitchen cupboards were painted shut in the kitchen when moved it. The electrical box was painted over, a child security plug was painted over in the outlet in the kitchen, the closet door was stuck due to paint sealing it shut.
Maintenance...who is that and when do they actually show up when you call. I had to call several times on my dishwasher not working, my light fixture having issues flickering on and off when someone above my apartment would walk over it, called several times within the time I lived there to report leaking from the ceiling above my shower. They came and repaired it by poking 2 small holes in the ceiling to let the water out and than painted over it. I also had water damage under my kitchen sink that they also just painted over. Maintenance rarely came when they were asked. The last time when I called and the water damage had leaked down the wall from the shower above my complex and it took the maintenance 3 days to complete the whole process of coming to my apartment, removing the damaged area and yet being called twice to come and cover the area up that was suppose to be covered with plastic. I would say they did an EXTREMELY poor job.
Staff... staff that according to their brochure is "PROFESSIONAL"....and offer the best service around. Now that has to be one of the funniest things that I have heard. The staff do not return calls, they are rude and inconsiderate when answering the phone. You attempt to contact them by going to the main office and all they can do is continue on with their conversations and gossip until you have to rudely interrupt them to get their attention. They also will not listen or hear you out when you attempt to state to them why you are upset with how they handle move out procedures and lie about who actually did your walk through and that they claimed they were the ones to report the water damage. Explain that to me when they did not live in the complex. Than they rudely continue to talk and hang up on you tell you that you are rude when you just called you out on lying. I have lived in many apartment complexes and this is by far the worst.
The equipment in the work out center never works and when you complain they say it was just checked out, the locker rooms and shower area in the locker room have mildew growing on them. The library is books that people have just left there. The windows in the upstair library and fitness center are also filthy. I never heard a word about the business center or resident lounge either.
After my experience with this place I only hope that I can get the word out to many people that I don't care how reasonable or glam they make it see it is NOT WORTH IT! I am still fighting with them about the lies and partial security deposit they are trying to keep. So save yourself the time and trouble and find a landlord that will treat you better. Once again I have rented from MUCH more RESPECTFUL, PROFESSIONAL and CLEAN landlords that actually have heart.
