I have lived here at ridgebrook for going on 4 years now. all in all i am a happy resident. **i take this back... i am not i repeat NOT a happy resident.
some improvements needed: enforcing the assigned parking spots. i have waited up to 2 hours for management to call me back on a complaint that someone had parked in my spot. of course that person was gone by this time so i had to move my car from who knows where to my spot that i pay $20 a month for.
the dog allowance: i am soooo lucky to be able to be in an apartment that allows my loved ones too. BUT is it too much to ask to be able to walk my dogs and or cats outside' in order to do this you must walk the parking lot to the public sidewalk off the complex and go that route... why must i walk away from my residence to get excersize' the dog run is a nice fenced in area where you can let your pets loose. well there are no bags and trash available in there so people just fell like they dont have to pick up after their pets. this is disgusting and unhealthy. the smart thing to do would be to put the doggy station in the area not 100 feet away. i use my own bags just because of this but most people dont even bother picking up the waste which puts my animals in danger! << this is a health issue people! not only that but at night in the pitch winter dark you have the people who dont want to step in the waste so again they just dont bother.( i wear old shoes and check them before going in)and why were the wood chips put in' all they do is soak up urine and cause odor. id rather have the muddy land that was there than these gross things. And when i moved in here there was a policy stating NO PITBULLS or ROTTWEILers allowed. i had to get rid of my rotty when i moved in here. i am not against them myself but if that is the policy why are there so many of these dogs on the premises. i have counted at least 4 pits and 6 rottweilers. wow nice policy and or nice policeing the policy.
as for maintence well thats a win lose situation. i cant comment on any emergency situation cuz i havent had any yet. but when i have a problem that is minor they are right on it most of the time. lately that has changed to whenever they have someone available.
i had a friend move out last year and we cleaned their apartment from top to bottom. we even had a cleaning lady come in. it was spotless when we left it but they still charged NINE hours of cleaning to their final deposit. i honestly have never seen a management company take sooo much money out of a deposit for nothing. so yes i will agree they go far beyond fair with that. i just hope if i ever move that wont happen to me!
i am not asking anyone to babysit the kids outside EXCEPT FOR THE PARENTS OF THESE KIDS!! this is not only their home it is alot of peoples. these kids run around like they own the place and are very loud. the laundry room has been set on fire 3 times in the other bldg (my friend told me this happened within the last year!). kids run up and down the hallways screaming at all hours of the night. they play in the elavators and prop the doors open for all to come in. this is the kind of thing that i can say is unacceptable. if i had children here i would be in constant worry of their safety because of these things. i am not allowed to have my pets on the grass but these kids are allowed to play ball and hit the vehicles in the lot and destroy property on the patios. not good.
i do plan on moving within the next year but i would reccomend this place to all my single non caring non parent friends. **update: i will NOT reccomend this place.

i've lived at ridgebrook for 4.5yrs and the experience was let just say complicated.the property manager is very rude too the tenants as well as the their guest. he is the only one of the staff there that does not have people skills and lacks professionallism. other wise the staff were great and very helpful, on or off duty. the property would be a hell of alot better ------------------was not property manager.
