Buyer Beware.

I had paid the deposit and the application fees, ready to move in, got there and my apartment was awful. They pulled the bait and switch on me. Apartment was not as promised, smelled awful, and looked nothing like the model apartment they showed.

Secondly, I asked over the phone if there were any other fees that I had to pay, and was given the answered "No." When I arrived however there was another $50 administrative fee and another fee of a $100, for something else that I can't remember.

In the end, I refused to move in, and lost my application fee and $100 deposit. An expensive mistake not paying attention to these warnings, but I found a much better apartment and would highly recommend for anyone considering this apartment to keep looking.

This is helpful. I also wondered about the random administrative fees. Don't management companies usually pay salaries to their leasing people? This is what an "administrative fee" really is. The leasing agents are dumb as rocks and have attitudes only slightly brighter than rocks. Ten minutes with them was enough for me.

I got a great apartment!! I saw the model when I stopped in and when move in day came I got a great apartment!!! They painted accent walls for me for FREE! The aprtment was clean and looked great!!! When I stopped in they even had a flyer with a list of all the prices and fees clearly written out! There were no surprises when I got here. Plus you never lived here, how could you have any clue about the maintenance, parking, construction, noise or any of that!!! It sound to me like you did not look things over well!! And are making assumptions!! The Atrium is a great place to live and I would reccommend it to anyone!!!
