Lived here a year--they are trying to make things nice. But my carpet was dirty when I moved in, there were ants and bugs, fire alarm went off almost every night for a month last December (fire trucks came), they tell you to pay $50/mo to park underground or risk fines/towing if you work late and there isn't a space (I usually park at a nearby complex and sneak in), my apartment was boiling hot all spring and fall and freezing cold all winter and they told me it couldn't be fixed, they leave notes on the door when you need to move your car for plowing but don't tell you where to move it to, maintenance left a mess of shavings and garbage when installing new outlets and they actually peed in my toilet and left it during a yearly check (I was out of town for three days and my whole apartment reeked--toilet seat was still up, too). They also took a month to fix my running toilet. Parking lot and hallways often noisy. And then they raised my rent $100/mo if I renewed my lease when they told me they wouldn't.
