WOW where to start.....all the bad reviews are correct!! I have lived here for about 9 months....I CANT WAIT TO GET OUT!!! this place is a joke! ya so they landscaping looks decent....congrats!!! the apartments are tiny for the amount of rent they charge, the indoor pool is FREEZING, and the staff really doesnt give a s**t about you. They pay for heat, but control it so it doesnt go above 70!! the windows are tiny, i have VERY little natural light in the apartment which only makes it worse. The hallways smell like trash, and parking is a joke. I kid you not with what i am about to say.....since the day i moved in there has been a dead bug(i think its a roach) at the bottom of a door sill in one of the hallways....IT IS STILL THERE. i figured i would just see how long it took them to vaccum it up....yep 9 months later it is still there!! I looked into getting out of my lease before it was up due to my husbands job....well they informed me it would be about $4,000.00 to break my lease! i have been at a lot of apartmentc omplexs and have NEVER heard of ANYONE charging that much....they charge you for everything. We even have to pay for the light outside our unit in the hallway...no its not that much a month....but its still rediculous! BUT If you like people breaking into cars and pulling fire alarms weekly, then this is the place for you!! Trust me if you want to enjoy life...stay far away from the Atrium....its in your best interest.

I completely agree with what your saying! It all adds up and the manager never cares about "you"

Ditto!!! This place really sucks. According to police reports, vandalism and theft are common occurences here. Don't waste an extra $50.00/month on the "secure" parking in the garage. It was just broken into and trashed again which happens regularly. The secure doors on the complex are either propped open or unlocked (so much for security). Stay away from this place!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!111

TRASHY place. And when I say that, I am not exaggerating. I would often see the incenerator overflow with garbage...literally, there would be trash spilled out by the elevator! i wonder if they ever had a showing in this building. Never noticed an issue with vandalism or theft, but the hallways did smell a lot. The apartments are way too small for the money. Unfortunately, I rented a room that I was not even shown. Rip off indeed! I moved back into the cities after this place--into a house!

I completely agree and can't wait for my lease to expire so I can move out. When shown the apartment, it looked okay. In fact, the unit itself has a really nice lay-out. I was told it was a very secure, safe, neighborhood. Ha! The garage area is broken into constantly. My bike, which was locked with a heavy-duty u-lock and had two flat tires, was cut free and taken. The "security" doors are either broken or propped open with large cinder blocks, made accessible by the managment. The walls and ceilings are paper-thin. To clarify, the dishes in my cupboards rattle when my neighbors listen to their stereo at a normal level of volume. Complaining to management or to the property owners is fruitless. I asked for locks to be put of the door of the garages that opened with the same key that we supposedly use to get in the ever-so secure security doors and was told no because it would be too difficult for residents to dispose of large garbage down in the garage area. What a joke! First of all, people just toss their garbage, large or small, in the hallways, which is completely revolting. Secondly, I pay extra each month to have a parking space and supposedly secure storage area. I asked the apartment manager why garbage rated above my car, but amazingly, she didn't have an answer. Moving in here was a huge mistake and I am doing what I can to discourage others from making the same error.
