I thought we were moving into something special. Building one was really nice and I was thinking this is great. Well not so much...I moved into building 4 I think it was. Well it was far from nice. It was dirty, and garbage was always piled up in the hallways, because people are to lazy to clean up. People with dogs were to lazy to pick up their dogs poop, or dogs would poop in the hallways and people wouldn't pick it up. Christmas eve of 2006 I had my car broken into in my garage stall. There was a video camera outside the elevator, and one on both ends of the garage. I asked for video footage and they said they didn't have cameras in the garages. A week later they were taken down! How retarded is that. Rent was very high I think I paid $1100 in rent. If your paying that you should just go get a mortgage because it's pretty much the same price. I only pay $1200 for my mortgage now.
Anyways when I moved out two months early, I was still paying for my parking spot. I would go to the apartment and check to make sure things were still okay, because my name is still attached to it and I'm responsible for anything that would happen to it even if I didn't live there. A couple of times I went there and the lights were left on, and I don't leave the lights on because thats electricity I have to pay. I was also still paying for my gargae stall. I came one day and some yah whoo was parked in my spot. I wrote a note on the vehicle telling them not to park there because I'm paying for this spot. Management then calls me up asking if I put a note on someones car. I said yes because I'm not paying for someone else to park there. So they were charging me plus the guy that was parking there so they could make an extra buck. Since I caught them on it they finally agreed to give me my money back. Make the judgements you want on this apartment complex, but I personally would not live here.

I wonder who was using your apartment after you moved out-I moved out approximately three weeks before my lease was up, I left it spotless and they charged me for cleaning things that had been formerly clean. It made me wonder who was using my apartment after I moved out and before it was leased to someone new.
I purchased a townhome and my mortgage is $100 less per month than rent was!
