There have been so many 911 and police calls on this place it's not even funny. Dogs are always fighting. There is a certain person that is always revving his exhaustless engine, which is so loud you can hear it even with all the windows closed, ac on, tv on, dishwasher going and washing machine going. Most of the people in my building seem to be youngsters in their twenties and they obviously don't give a hoot whether it's 2am, 3am, 4am, etc.
They costantly smoke directly in front of the entrance to the building even though the Atrium states that they must smoke 50 feet from the building or in their apartments. The smoke comes right inside our apartment and sometimes its definitely not cigarette smoke!

My wife is going to have our baby anytime now and doesn't get much sleep the way it is. I am an ex Iraq combat veteran with severe PTSD. With all the fighting going on by drunks in the hallways I get flashbacks of situations when I was shot in Iraq. I have been hospitalized once because of the stress this has caused my wife and I.
We get on average of 2 - 4 hours of sleep a night because of the situation here and it seems to just get worse. We get sick if we run the AC which doesn't have a filter and has mold growing on the inside of it. We cant leave the windows open because of all the idiots outside after 10:00pm. People have had their cars broken into in the supposedly secure garage. We are supposed to be able to watch a security camera to the entrance of the building by tuning our tv to a certain station which also doesnt work. There is also a registered sex offender within a mile of the apartments that we were not even told about and I doubt anyone else has until we saw this website.

So basically, if you like to fight while walking the halls, going to and from the building, getting your vehicle broken into, getting tickets, getting threatened because you calmly tell your neighbors to be quite when its 3 or 4 in the am. hearing drunks yell, scream, break things such as bottles on the property, getting your pet bitten or killed by someone elses, or simply get flashbacks from things you wish you could forget, then this place is for you.

No wonder you posted anonymously... you're a COWARD!!! You are probably the immature loser who leaches off of society and behaves in an unacceptable, irresponsible manner.You are most likely one of "those people" who makes this man's complaint legitimate. How dare you even attempt to marginalize this man's point of view, and in addition,going as far as to insult him and disrespect him for being part of YOUR COUNTRY'S MILITARY!- You have NO IDEA if it was his "choice" or not, he signed up to make sure that YOU HAVE A CHOICE. I suggest you shut it. Screw you, you pompous jerk! - His complaint had NOTHING to do with having PTSD... and yes, you're right, it isn't a disease, it's a DISORDER. Something awful, beyond this man's control was imposed upon him. NOT BY CHOICE. So no, it's not a disease...I also suggest you do your research before you try and pose yourself as the authority on a topic, clearly of which you know NOTHING about! The Atrium sucks! I hope he can get out of his lease as soon as possible so that he, his wife and child don't have to live within a 2 mile radius of scum bags such as yourself.

Oh wow, this Apartment is just unreal to me, GET OUT OF YOUR LEASE ASAP This place sucks and has ppl like the Anonymous poster here. That is just terrible. Isn't this a site meant for helping individuals seeking residency? It's odd seeing people getting totally off topic and throwing insults at people they dont no or never met! This is not myspace nor facebook or any of those chatting sites. I do agree that the posts about PTSD were out of line but UKSONGSTRESS84 yours were just as ignorant and no better. The atrium isn't as bad a place as described however it is also not accomadating to for an ex Military patriot with PTSD. I would totally reccomend it. With any building there is going to be noise and party's. Different people have different lifestyles so find one that suits you if you think the atrium isnt for you.

I think the real point is to show how the management at this place likes to lie and to warn people that might be looking into living here know about that. They state in the lease that every resident has the right to quiet enjoyment of the premises and when you are getting woken up in the middle of the night 3 times a week there's no quiet enjoyment of the premises. The management is there to enforce the rules they state in the lease and they don't do that. This guy is just writing a story to show this. Part of his story is that he has ptsd. There's a certain amount of noise you'll get living in an apartment building, but 3 times a week and some nights being multiple disturbances is excessive unless you're living in a dorm.

Well, the tenant is correct in that this apartment complex is not a wise choice for any responsible mature individual. when I checked out the community and met with the leasing "professionals", I was very interested in moving to this complex. I moved in and for a month or so, all was good. Lately the maturity level of the new tenants is much to be desired. there are parties all night, the idiot in the white car that revs his engine for who knows why. not to mention that dog feces left on the premises. If you do take the time to work with the management company, it is just a waste. NOTHING is done about it. To all the people out there with a responsible job and wondering if you will be able to sleep and perform your job duties - I would NOT recommed this apartment complex.
