I lived on the 3rd floor about 7 years ago. The ceiling in my bedroom and bathroom would leak water on a regulur basis...sometimes even when it was not raining outside. One night the water was pouring in...I called the emergency line for apartment and they asked me what I wanted them to do about it. They never came to fix it or look at it. Finally my room flooded. They told me to move all my furniture and they would rip the carpet out and replace it. After 3 days of living at my parenets house, I went to check the progress and NO ONE had been there to do anything. Needless to say, the place started smelling pretty bad. My roommate had to move out, I had to move out. They would NOT let me out of my lease and told me that I could move to a different apartment at Burningham!!! I called a building inspector, had my apartment condemmed and sued them. I won in court and happily moved the hell out. WOULD NEVER WANT ANYONE TO HAVE TO GO THROUGH THAT NIGHTMARE. PLUS THE MANAGEMENT PEOPLE WERE SO RUDE TO ME.
