I have lived here since February 2005. Yes, in 2005 it was rough, changing management companies. Very lax on background checks and policies. Times have changed. HRA decided to manage it themselves. Best decision ever! The whole place is maintained and improved all the time. There is no longer flexability. If you violate the lease, you're gone. That's how it should be. I feel like this is now a safe(r) neighborhood. Police reports are checked by management frequently. Safety is their first concern. I have a toddler and safety for my family is my first concern as well. There are trail systems all over for us to go on bike rides or walks. It is a little different layout (70's design). They are updating all of the cabnets and such as new vacancies occur. I enjoy Jonathan Acres. I feel I get a lot for my money. I started with a 2 bedroom and now have a 3 bedroom on my 4th lease. Great place for a family. Worth checking them out!
