First, I'll start with the positives. The master bedroom is spacious and has a fantastic walk-in closet. The building is safe and located in a good area. There is central air. Parking is fine. That's about it for positives. The "free cable" includes 24 channels, and out of those there's about 5 news channels and others most people do not watch anyways. I don't watch a lot of TV, but it would be nice to watch the game on ESPN or something, but alas, that's not one of the 24 channels, even though I was told before signing it was. If you want decent cable channels, you'll have to pay for it. Sure, there's an exercise room, but there's no ventilation. It's the equivalent of working out in a sauna. The appliances are cheap, insulation poor, horrendous building layout, and the rent is ridiculously priced. I wished I had more than 2 days to find a new home since I transferred to the area from out-of-state because I discovered far better apartments in the vicinity after I moved here, which is unfortunate. The building's interior is uninspired, resembling a shoddy Holiday Inn. In addition, the rooms are all cookie-cutter designed. There is absolutely no personality here, so if you're looking for a unique place to live, forget it. The kitchen was also poorly designed. The worse part of this location was the management. Not only were they inconsistent with tenant issues and rules, they were lazy, apathetic, and possessed a warped notion of business ethics. Basically, they were a pain to deal with. Most of their policies nickel-and-dime you, a sure sign of insecure business practices. The poor management prompted me to move out of this building. The bottom line is that there absolutely nothing special about this place. Anyone who believes this is a great place to live is deluding themselves. There are far better options to live in the area.
