I just bought a house and am moving out of North Meadows. I can agree on the drafty windows, also the A/C intake vent lets in cold air. I also have to agree with the roudy kids terrorizing the hallways. I usualy would just stick my head out and give them the evil eye and that cooled them off.
On the other hand, I have never heard my neighbors and everyone I talk to seems to be freindly. The parking lot is cramped, but managable. You need to realize that you are renting an apartment in a huge building. It is extremly quiet and well maintained for such a huge place. The complaints about appliances shouldn't be taken to seriously. The appliances were there when you first looked at the place. Take em or leave em.
For what's it is North Meadows was a good place to live. For a place that huge you can't expect perfection.
