North Meadows seem like really nice apartments from the outside, but they have really bad insulation you can feel the cold air coming through the windows and the windows always have frost with mold around it. You can hear your neighbors talk through the walls and doors slamming in the halls.
The front office staff are really short and rude (especially ----- ----)and they never have it together. They send out notices to you accussing you of things that you didn't do. ----- is very short and nasty to tentants which most tentants here do not like her very much and are looking foward to seeing her go.

My windows have become annoyingly drafty as well. For the first 4 years I never had a utility bill over $50 and I live in a 2-bedroom. (Granted my wife turns off the heat at night and that helps). But this year our gas usage will likely go up because the windows have degraded. This also lowers humidity substantially. Actually, what's become more annoying of late is the number of dogs in the building.

I'm sorry to hear that North Meadows isn't doing as well as it was when I lived there. Ever think of getting a window insulation kit? It'd take care of the draft and save on your heating costs...and it only costs...what...less than $20?

When I lived there, I put up the window insulation and it only slightly helped. Larger windows such as the patio windows are still very drafty. I guess it also depends on which side of the building you are on. We faced the fire department and from the winds blowing across all that open space, even with the insulation kit, you could still catch a breeze from a few feet away.
