Where to begin.. My heat broke in DECEMBER. They told me I had to go through the weekend without heat, because the Maintanence Man was gone. I woke up to my house being 43 degrees. Did I add I also had a baby? I called and called. After a WEEK, he fixed it, and the NEXT DAY it broke again. It took another week to fix it again, while during that time I had to live at my mothers. No apology, no nothing.
Second, there are INSANE people living there. People that if you make the tiniest noise, like my BABY crawling on the floor, they will knock on their ceilings continuously for minutes upon minutes. The "Caretaker" is rude, dirty, and just unpleasant. I had someone try to break into my apartment numerous times.
This place was just awful. I moved out way before my lease was up, got a new place, and just continued to pay the rent there as well.
DO NOT MOVE HERE.. IT WILL BE NOTHING BUT TROUBLE

This is Sandie, long time manager of Garden Oaks. I have been trying to understand the above review. This is a situation that I am not familiar with. I truly wonder if this was posted to the wrong building. We respond to our residents quickly,and with respect.
