These apartments LOOK great! We fell in love with them when we toured. A year later we wish we never would have lived there.
We had 3, yes 3 different property managers in the year we were there. And there was never any notice to residents notifying them of the change. TONS of kids in the apartment and they are LOUD LOUD LOUD! The people above us would exercise until late in the night, and management did nothing to help us settle it, we could see our ceiling move when they walked. Under our sink was all moldy, they put down some linoleum, just "until the wood they ordered arrived" 12 months later, we're moving out, and it's still got the linoleum there. We also had a problem with our freezer. The maintence man fixed it, but forgot to turn it back on. We lost over 200 dollars worth of frozen and refrigerated food. No apology or reimbursement came from management when notified them, even though we were away for the weekend when the repairs took place, we had no way of knowing it was turned off.
They never notify you when a package is recieved. We got an unexpected package once, and didn't find out it had been delivered until 3 weeks later. It even had some time sensitive material in it. I guess we were lucky we found out about it when we did.
When we decided to move closer to St Paul, we asked about transferring within the company. We had been told we could do this on our tour, and that our application and damage deposit would just transfer. Our current property manager told us she didn't know, so we left a message for the head manager at Stuart Co. She never called us back, but she had called the Wedgewood manager who proceeded to leave us a nasty voicemail about calling her manager. Very unprofessional.
