I'm a Single Female White and lived here for a few months while waiting to get into Low Income Housing. I thought this place was perfectly fine and had no problems. I felt safe and I would live here again if I had to.
Apparently this other reviewer has never seen what it's like in bad areas of LA, Chicago or even Minneapolis where I now live. There are really no problems here if you use common sense.

Really? So I should pay rent and live in a nice building in a crappy neighborhood, just because it's not "that bad" yet? I use common sense every day, but I live a nice neighborhood, and even though this wasn't a bad building, when I looked at it around 5 p.m. one day, then drove by later that Friday night, I decided it definitley wasn't worth it. Common sense doesn't protect you from stray bullets, or your kids from meeting the local dealer someday. Some people's standards are just much lower and they don't care what goes on around them, those are usually the people that have the guests that cause the problems.
