My husband and I recently moved to Duluth and were excited at the prospect of living in such an ideal part of town. I definitely give this apartment a thumbs up when it comes to parking and especially noise. Everyone in Miller Hill Manor has to be 21 or older with no kids or pets. However, we should have realized things weren't starting off right when we spent our first weekend here cleaning the apartment because it was left so filthy. We both just discarded this at that time. But then things just started happening one after another and the managers have been completely rude the few times we've contacted them. If you tell them something needs to be looked at they sound completely annoyed and tell you it will "go on the list." I have never been rude to any of them but the two times they've had to come into our apartment and check on things I'm talked to like I'm completely stupid, he swears and is just completely rude the entire time he is here. And apparently when placed on the list priority has nothing to do with anything so expect to wait a long time. We see them frequently and they are seemingly always chatting with people but they don't have the time to get basic maintenance items fixed. It's ridiculous. I will never recommend this apartment to anyone.

I have had the same experience with the old landlord. I am a current tenant and we now have new managers with one owner taking a very active part is updating the apartments. The new management has been in place now for about three weeks as I write this. Everybody wants to be anonymous due to fear from the old manager, a man with an obvious personality disorder and a drinking problem. He raged around the building until everybody knew he was to be feared. I was afraid to go to sleep at night for over 3 years. Here is a place for a class action suit if some attorney was on the ball. Updates are great but what about compensating the people who suffered here because no background check was done on the prior manager. It is a law in Minnesota that this background check be done before hiring. Both of the owners hiding out in Florida and making it hard to contact them. JEESH....enough said !!
