Management is terrible.... just as bad as the neighborhood outside the building... - I have lived at Village Place Apartments for two years now. While I have lived here I have had numerous problems with the staff and management of this building. The maintenance staff has been seen yelling and threatening residents from not only me but other residents report this, ignoring maintenance request. My 2 apartment which I moved to in the building was not even cleaned, ...Full review of Village Place Apartments

I live here for a short time waiting for Section 8 & had no problems - I'm a Single Female White and lived here for a few months while waiting to get into Low Income Housing. I thought this place was perfectly fine and had no problems. I felt safe and I would live here again if I had to. Apparently this other reviewer has never seen what it's like in bad areas of LA, Chicago or even Minneapolis where I now live. There are really no problems here if you ...Full review of Frances Skinner Apartments

Devonshire Apartments

Still kicking - after all these years; Devonshire was built in the 1920s as an apartment "mansion" with a restaurant and other services on site. The coal-fired boiler is no longer, but the building is still warm in winter. Devonshire retains some of its former splendor. The staff were great, as were the neighbors, and the location was excellent (and quiet!). ...Full review of Devonshire Apartments

August 12, 2009 - Just moved in a week ago. Parking is great, (I pay $65.00 a month for heated, underground parking) very clean building. Have met one of the owners, very personable and kind. Held the door for me as I was coming in and introduced himself. The new managers are receptive to my requests, even suggested I wait a few extra days and if I did, I would have new carpeting upon ...Full review of Miller Hill Manor
