I haven't even moved in yet and I am already thinking about saying ---- it. I went there 3 1/2 weeks ago to look at the place after that I came back two days later with my dad and filled out the application and paid the security deposit. They said it would take 3-5 business days for my backround check and employer verification came back from headquarters. 4 days later I still get no call, so I decide to call and they said they can't approve me until they get a hold of my employer and so I gave her the home cell work all the numbers my boss has to call. She said when I get that cleared I can start moving in and that would take a day. Because there is free rent in November I decided I would move into a two bedroom by myself and pick a roommate after I was all settled and have them move in then. I was getting really excited for my first apartment and everything so I called again after 2 days and they said that I have a warrant for my arrest because I forgot to go to court for a parking ticket that was bogus in the first place because I was dealing with this ---- in the apartment and I couldn't move in until that was all cleared up so I called the police and told them that I need to come down to clear my warrant and that I wont be able to go to jail because I have a nanny job that you can't just call in sick to and they were like yeah fine come on down and well set up a courtdate when I get there they arrested me and I got my grandparents to bail me out for $500 but I couldn't even leave when they got there at 3 pm because I have a clean record they had to put me in their system which they said takes two hours but since it was a sunday I didn't get to leave until 9pm. The next day I called back and I told them that it was all cleared up and they told me that they have to call and verify that I actually did get everything cleared up. So I call back the next day no answer and when I left messages I would not get a call back then I called from a different number and they answered right away and then they said we are still waiting to hear from your employer because she never called and told me that my boss still hasnt called or anything so I called my boss right away and told her to call -----she told me she would call me as soon as she talks to her and her supervisior and checks on it before five when -----leaves. I called back later that day left a message saying that my boss left a message for her and there was no answer all day and then finally at five I called and the nightshift lady was there and told me that I was never told that I could move in today and I just got irritated with her and kind of yelled at her saying I should be able to move in now that I did all that and she told me that isn't the case she needs to complete a backround check and they told me that was being done in the beggining. So now were going on 2 1/2 weeks of still not moving in and I would call every day and never got a call back when I leave messages and never got answers unless I was calling off a different phone then they would just tell me that they will call me when the supervisior looks through it. 3 weeks later I call again like I did 7 times a day for a week they finally answer and they said you can't move in until you find a roommate so I'm ------- pissed off I hired a moving van for that day and packed everything I own up and I asked if I could just put this all in the house for now so I dont waste 100 on a moving van and they say no that is illegal and so I get pissed and start yelling at her and she said there is nothing we can do about it now and Im just yelling like you should have called me returned my phone calls or emails so I could have known what I need to do and she hangs up on me she just kept saying find a roommate and you'll be ready. The next day on monday my roommate comes over (luckily I had just picked one and she is my friend already) and she signs the application and her employer called right away and she said she would submit her backround check that night so it comes back the next day and we can move in. Now they said that they just submited it on tuesday and that we have to wait until wednesday, it is now friday night and we can't move in tonight they said to wait til tomorrow but they have said that 19 times to me so I am about ready to say ---- it. They have called me ONE SINGLE TIME I called every single other time without any answers to any messages. I have not slept for much in 5 days and have major headaches all day.
