I moved into Bayberry in Aug. 2008. When I moved there it was well groomed, the management was great and everything seemed fine. Since the new manager has taken over everything has gone down hill. She is rude and looks at you with a blank stare if you ask her anything. She seems like she just does not care about her residents at all.
**They added a parking permit program and each apartment, regardless of how many bedrooms or tenants gets only one permit. They do have a tow company come around, as my husband's car was towed once.
**The garages have been broken into numerous times. I spoke with one resident a few days ago who has had his garage (locked) broken into 4 times.
**There is a HUGE stack of garbage by the dumpsters (mattresses, chairs...etc) that just sit there. Now they want the residents to start paying for it.
**The pool is not open yet (it's June 16th). When maintenance came to our apartment he told us that they're not in a hurry to get it open because they aren't making money.
**We have had an ant problem in our kitchen, which has spread to other parts of the apartment. Again, the manager DID NOT apologize just stared blankly at me, while the other person in the office did her best to talk to me about it.
**The hallways are not clean. This used to be clean all the time. Now it's just nasty.

Folks, I am not one to complain a lot but I WOULD NOT recommend this place at all, at least until they get new management and get the place shaped up. If you do choose it, try to get a lower rent. They don't have a high occupancy rate right now and they should be doing everything they can to bring new people in and to keep the people they do still have happy. It's just not happening.

wow you are dead on i used to love living here and i absolutely despise it now im moving in a few weeks...sooo happy!!
