First of all, let me say this: This place is a joke! Ever since I moved in I have had nothing but problems! I asked the maintenance staff in 2004 to fix the grills that didnt' work, and guess what' Two years later, they still don't! I have had numerous failures with this inept management team. They have changed personnel at least 3 times in the past 2 1/2 years.
Last month (July 06) they misplaced my rent check. I received a threatening letter one week after my check had cleared the bank. I had to go to my bank and order a photocopy of my canceled check before they would believe me and I have been living here for over 2 1/2 years! But the worst is yet to come! Yesterday 8/4/06, I received what i believe is just plain extortion. I got a puppy two weeks ago, and received another letter under my door stating that I had to pay a 400.00 transfer fee, a 300.00 pet deposit, an additional 25.00 a month pet rent (my dog doesn't 'work'!) and MOVE! WTF'! All because my building isn't 'dog friendly'! You can be sure I will not be renewing my lease, or ever reccommend this place to anyone! Oh, one more thing, if you're a student getting collegiate housing, you will be charged the outrageous amount of 500.00 per month just to share a 2 bedroom with 3 other students! THIS PLACE IS TO BE AVOIDED!!!

I also had to pay the 300.00 pet deposit and the additional 25.00 a month pet rent, but no transfer fee...

All I have to say to that is, "Duh". That is certainly not a sob story. Come on, everyone has to pay a huge amount for pet deposits and pet rents suck, but unfortunately they have the power. Also the transfer thing is completely understandable. People without pets are generally less tolerable to the noise and piss smell and ---- all over the yard than do the owners that let them do it. It's pretty much a respect thing. Hell, if they had an apartment that separated people with kids from people without kids, that would be a great thing too. Besides, how can you possibly be so dumb as to not check these things out with your landlord before you make a huge commitment as a guardian to your new family member? Gurl, please.

I do know that you were given a rent credit and an apology letter for your troubles on the rent check issue. As far as the puppy, everyone who has a pet in the community has the same policy to abide by. If you would of contacted the office prior to getting the puppy instead of trying to sneak one by them this whole issue would of been avoided.

I'm a potential renter at LeMay Lake and as I'm reading these reviews all I can say is what are these people complaining about! Grow up, be responsible in reading your lease terms. You have the same rules and regulations as anyone else, you don't ---- out gold turds do you??

I bet it would have been John to do this, and you go upto him to ask if this can be done in a better way, he would shrug his lousy shoulders and say "This is how it works here, AM SORRY"
WTF man!
